About us!
Umus began as a dream that grew out of feeling like an outsider in the world of perfect sketches and flawless fashion drawings. I was never the best at drawing, and I never fit in with the people who could. But my heart has always lived in fashion. I see clothing as a language and I wanted a place where my voice could exist without limits.
As an autistic creator I experience the world in a way that feels brighter and more textured. Colors speak to me in combinations that most people would never think to pair. I love bringing those unexpected blends into every piece I design. It feels like sharing the way my mind sees beauty.
Umus is built on care for the planet. Every fabric is recycled and every choice is made with intention. I want clothing that feels good to wear and good to stand behind.
This brand is my way of creating a space where difference is strength and creativity has no rules.

The idea was brought to me suddenly of being a co-owner of the UMUS brand, and it was surprising but also exciting to flesh out what we find fashionable while also sticking to our morals.
The clothing we create is one we would be proud to wear, and we hope that you, too, feel the same way. I admire the owner of UMUS greatly, and we hope to continue creating great products for our brand!
